Can rabbits eat cucumbers?

Rabbits can eat cucumbers!

Cucumbers can actually be a healthy snack for rabbits to eat, however like with all other foods, rabbits should be given cucumbers in moderation.

Some rabbits love the taste of cucumbers, however some will not touch them.  Do not be surprised if you give your rabbit a bunch of cucumbers and he or she  sniffs them and hops away.

If you are giving cucumbers to your rabbit the first time, you should watch your rabbit to see how they react to it.  Some rabbits may get gas, or diarrhea from cucumbers, and if this happens to your rabbit, you should be careful to not give any cucumbers again.
